Buying on Whatnot

Every Brick Gaf sale happens live on Whatnot. Here is how to take part.

Follow Brick Gaf on Whatnot

  1. Set up your account

    Add a payment method and a shipping address in the Whatnot app or on whatnot.com. Whatnot needs both before you can bid or buy.

  2. Follow brickgaf

    Follow Brick Gaf on Whatnot and you get a notification when a show goes live.

  3. Join the show

    Watch live in the Whatnot app or on whatnot.com.

  4. Bid or buy

    Tap to bid, or set a maximum bid. Timers vary: on some items a late bid adds a few seconds; on Sudden Death items it adds none. Some items are Buy It Now. Bids are binding.

  5. Pay and track

    Whatnot takes payment and adds shipping and any taxes at checkout. Whatnot Buyer Protection covers eligible orders that don't arrive, arrive damaged or aren't as described; time limits and exclusions apply.

Questions people ask

What is Sudden Death?

On a Sudden Death item the timer does not add time for late bids. When it reaches zero, the highest bid wins.

What does Buy It Now mean?

Some items have a fixed price you can pay straight away instead of bidding.

Can I take a bid back?

No. Bids are binding. If you win something by mistake, Whatnot lets you ask the seller to cancel within 24 hours, and the seller decides.

Is my money protected?

Pay through Whatnot and Whatnot Buyer Protection covers eligible orders. Anything paid outside Whatnot is not covered, which is one reason Brick Gaf only sells on Whatnot.
